Acts 20:35 -It is more blessed to give than to receive.
Rich rule over the poor and the borrower is a servant to the lender- Proverbs 22:7.
*We become servants to others rather than God. Matthew 6:24 – God and mammon.
*Debt prohibits us from giving – tithes and offering.
In the house of the wise are stores of choice food and oil, but the foolish devours all he has – Proverbs 21:20
*The effect of overspending results in under paying. Not being able to fulfill our financial commitments.
*We should limit the number of financial outlets.
Whoever loves pleasures will become poor, whoever loves wine and olive oil will never become rich – Proverbs 21:17
* We all want to drive, eat and wear the best. Philippians 4:11 – Not that am in want, but I have learned to be content in whatever state I am.
*My financial position is dependent on my contentment.
