PERFECTING PRAISE is graced by the leadership of their HOD, Siyanqoba Mthethwa, works closely with the Worship leaders who together strive to groom the members Musically and Spiritually as they lead the congregation in Praise and Worship. The leaders insist on members having a heart of a servant and being humble remembering it is all about God irrespective of how some are well accomplished in the Music Industry.

Siyanqoba Mthethwa – HOD “Siya” as he is affectionately called, son of a Pastor is originally from the Province of Kwa- Zulu Natal is the Perfecting Praise HOD, Musial Director and Voice Trainer. He is also the current Music Director of the popular South African Gospel Choir, Joyous Celebration which he joined as a keyboardist in 2010 when he was approached by the then Musical Director, Nqubeko Mbatha. He is gifted in sporting potential and grooming it and believes in always raising the bar towards achieving Excellency in Worshiping God

Pastor Frank Chimpanzi – Spiritual Head Pastor Frank who is originally from Malawi and a twice nominee of the South African Crown Awards is the Spiritual Head of Perfecting Praise. He is an accomplished South African based Gospel singer who is also a song writer and composer. With four albums to his name although being a renowned singer he is a Man of God placed in the team to groom the members Spiritually and keep them cognisant that they are to remain with the spirit of servant hood irrespective of being the Worship Team.

Siphokazi Nxumalo – Worship Leader “SK” as she is affectionately called, is originally from Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape Province in South Africa, and one of the founding members of the Grammy Awards and American Music Awards winning Choir, the Soweto Gospel Choir. She is a well-established performer and termed the Narrator of Soweto Gospel Choir. She has been part of the Soweto Gospel Choir since its inception in 2002 to date. She is a Worship leader at Perfecting Praise and believes that although the Worship Team is made up of people who have accomplishments in the Music Industry, Perfecting Praise is not about being a show but remembering it is Church and it is all about God and so remaining humble is important and knowing God for one’s self as a Spiritually mature servant in the house, “how can you take people to a place you have never been?”

Mahalia Buchanan – Worship Leader Mahalia originally from Eldorado Park in Johannesburg has been singing from a very young age and has been part of the South African popular and South African Crown and One Gospel Awards Joyous Celebration for many years. She is a passionate and gifted Worshipper who has worked with many famous local and International star. She recently released her debut album and aims to touch the young people to draw them
